Catherine LaSalle

Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Catherine LaSalle is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art (2019) with a BFA in Painting and Drawing and a minor in Art History. She received the Dean's scholarship for her high school portfolio, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University. Her work "Afterlife" appeared in the Beacon Art Shortwave Gallery of Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where she spent three seasons as a gallery apprentice to sculptor Gary Jacketti. Her first solo BFA exhibition, titled “Wicked Reflections” opened November 2019 at the Stella Elkins Tyler Gallery at the Tyler School of Art.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, LaSalle is also an actress known for her role as Padme Amidala in YouTube’s VADER Fan Series, Episode 1: Shards Of The Past directed by Danny Ramirez and produced by the channel Star Wars Theory. She has also done voiceover work in the same channel’s production, Once Upon A Theory. She stars alongside John O’Hurley, Dennis Jeantet, and John Giordano in the short film Another Man’s Trash, which takes place in Philadelphia and promotes the hunger-relief efforts of Philabundance.

She can also be seen in a leading role in director Russ Emanuel’s Staycation, which stars veterans such as Sean Kenney and Olivia D’abo.

Catherine operates her self-titled YouTube channel, which has over sixty-thousand subscribers.
