Got back into the charcoal groove in Foundation Drawing. Focused on creating a composition from a still life that featured a range of values. We began with a gestural drawing of the subject matter, and blocked in large areas of value on each object, finishing up by tightening lines/proportions and blending in the values and erasing contour lines.
